The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa established a Center for Career Development at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa established a Center for Career Development on July 8th. A one-day training for employees that was carried out in the conference room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa followed. Mr Sezgin Bekir – an expert in career development – was the lector of the training. Mrs Mariya Panaiotova presented the services that the Center will provide and the career development consultant for the district of Vratsa – Borislav Aleksandrov.
On the next day a consultations day for career development was held. Individual consultations concerning the following topics were provided to the participants: writing of CV and motivation letter, providing of references, behavior and dress code at a job interview, offered and wanted positions. The Center for Career Development is situated in the building of The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa: 24 Hristo Botev str. fl.2.
The Center for Career Development is part of a big European project – Increasing Public Intolerance towards the Informal Sector in Labour and Social Security Relations and Preventive Measures for its
Restriction. The Project is implemented with the financial support of Human Resources Development Operational Programme financed by the European Social Fund and implemented by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the network of the regional chambers.
The career consultants at the Centers for Career Development will be responsible for:

• The daily search for the available job opportunities, published by the companies. They will not only examine the offers but will contact the companies as well so as to get information on opportunities for career opportunities offered by the respective employer
• The consultations for employees who are in search of opportunities for career development. The consultants will give employees information about the available jobs. They will assist them in writing CV and motivation letter and advise them how to dress and behave when going to a job interview
• The insertion of information in the “Career Development” Module which could be found uploaded on the electronic platform of the Virtual Social Academy (www.vsa.bcci.bg) where you could find information about positions offered by employers and information about candidates who are looking for career development
