On 21–22 October 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa took part in the second transnational meeting under the SymbioTech project, which was hosted by InDialogue Denmark (IDDK) in Roskilde, Denmark.
As leader of communication and dissemination, CCI Vratsa played a key role in the meeting. Ms. Ekaterina Nikolova, Expert Marketing, presented an overview of all ongoing communication and dissemination activities, clarified roles and responsibilities, and outlined upcoming reporting deadlines.
In addition, CCI Vratsa actively contributes to Work Package 3 (Training Design and Implementation) through the development of a VET module on “Life Cycle Assessment Principles for Evaluating Environmental Impacts and Benefits in Resource Sharing.” This module will be part of the international SymbioTech training programme, which aims to equip future SymbioTech Managers with the knowledge and skills to guide SMEs in their circular and digital transition.
The meeting brought together representatives from eleven European countries to review progress and coordinate upcoming activities related to research, training, and digital innovation. Discussions focused on the development of the SymbioTech training programme, the results of ongoing research on industrial symbiosis, and the creation of an AI-assisted collaboration platform to help SMEs identify and manage circular resource flows.
The Roskilde meeting reaffirmed the partners’ shared commitment to promoting the green and digital transition in Europe through education, technology, and collaboration between businesses and training institutions.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, SymbioTech connects education, research, and industry to foster innovation and accelerate the shift toward a circular and sustainable economy.
