Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa Participates in Third Partner Meeting and Study Visit for Project ACTIVE ID

On May 20th and 21st, the team from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa, along with representatives from key stakeholders – the Montana Youth Center and Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park – toоk part in the third partner meeting and study visit for the ACTIVE ID project. The project is funded under the Interreg Europe 2021-2027 programme and is implemented by a consortium of seven partners from Finland, Bulgaria, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Spain.

On May 20th, the meeting took place in 's- Hertogenbosch, where the sports and recreation policy in North Brabant was presented. Discussions covered the opportunities, challenges, and barriers facing small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the role of innovation in sports and recreation across all partner regions. Following the discussions, ideas for future actions and good practices were summarized.

The following day, participants visited the Van Gogh Nature Park in Nuenen, where they saw first-hand how modern technologies are applied to promote an active lifestyle. The presenters demonstrated how the park collects, analyzes, and uses visitor data to implement innovations. Participants had the opportunity to experience on-site how augmented reality is combined with the natural environment to stimulate physical activity. The second day concluded with a visit to the building and office of the Sports and Technology Cluster in Eindhoven. There, the Cluster's established network was presented, highlighting how it integrates businesses, sports laboratories, government, and educational institutions.
